Fees and Payments

Online registrations are paid via Credit Card using the National Bank secure internet payment service.

All fees are inclusive of GST. 

Fees advertised on our website are per person.

Program fees include workbooks, resources and handbooks where applicable.

Discounted membership pricing is offered to Australian Health Industry Group (AHIG) members.  When registering for a program the member will be asked to provide their membership number. The membership number is not transferable.  Membership pricing is only open to financial AHIG members.

Cancellation by Us

AHIG reserves the right to cancel a program and will endeavour to provide participants with as much notice as possible.  Cancellations by AHIG will be made in writing to the participant. AHIG will not be held liable for loss or damage arising from the exercising of these rights.

Upon cancellation of a course by AHIG any fees paid by the participant will be refunded in full.

Cancellation by You

As we incur substantial administrative costs prior to the commencement of a program the following policy applies:

  • All cancellations or requests for changes must be made in writing via email to info@austhig.net.au.
  • Provided that written notification is received by AHIG 7 or more calendar days before the program start date AHIG will provide a refund of 50% of the program fee.
  • Refunds will not be made for cancellations received less than 7 calendar days before the program start date.



If you are unable to attend a course you are welcome to send a substitute.  Requests for substitutions must be made in writing via email to training@austhig.net.au before the date of delivery.  In some circumstances a late substitution will mean that customised materials, name tags and other supporting documentation may not be in the substitute’s name.


We may take photos at our events for promotional purposes by AHIG. However you may request in writing, prior to the event, that images of you not be used for these purposes.  Please email info@austhig.net.au.

Consulting/In-house course delivery

Written acceptance of our proposal is required before any agreed program can proceed.

If you wish to defer an accepted program we require a request in writing no less than 21 days prior to the agreed program date. The program will be rescheduled without incurring a deferral fee.  Only one deferral is permitted without incurring a deferral fee.

If you wish to defer an accepted program 21 days or less than 21 days prior to the agreed program date a deferral fee of 10% of the program fee will be charged.

If an accepted program is deferred more than once, the deferral fee will increase to 20% of the program fee for each subsequent deferral.

Payment terms for Consulting/In-house course delivery

Payment terms strictly 14 days after invoice date.  Invoices will be provided on the day of program delivery.


AHIG guarantees confidentiality of information obtained.  The information obtained will not be disclosed to any other organisation without written permission of the client.

Information you provide to us will be entered into our database for the purpose of processing registrations, orders, payments, reminders and updates.  It may also be used to provide advertising material to you about AHIG’s training and other activities.  Advertising material will always contain an opt out option.


Catering is provided for courses with the duration of 1 full day or longer. Catering is not provided for half day courses.

Participants with special dietary requirements are to advise AHIG of this at the time of booking.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided during morning and afternoon breaks.

Copyright and ownership

All materials supplied by AHIG or its representatives to participants are for the particpant’s non-commercial use. Participant’s must not re-publish, licence, transfer, copy, reproduce or post on the internet any of these materials without the prior consent of AHIG or its representatives. All materials, notes and content are subject to copyright and may not be reproduced, copied or otherwise duplicated in part or in full without permission.

Theft, loss or damage

We do not accept responsibility for any loss or detriment arising through theft, loss or damage to property belonging to the participant.
